We live in a change of era – not in an era of change. Migration, expulsion, inequity, negative globalization, environmental alarm, and clashes of culture. The upside: exciting opportunities in new ways of social bonding, data revolution, digital and financial inclusion, and new forms of interdependency and organisation. 

C4C applies culture to realize change. C4C is the combination of a) a deep insight in cultural norms, values and beliefs and b) a shared understanding of the impact of warfare and poverty.  Based on these two pillars we address collective trauma through activating people. We bring new dynamics in frozen communities.

C4C works with people that have been given up on. Women at the end of war rape and poverty, communities fragmented by warfare, refugees excluded from any services: these days many people are not just excluded from the benefits of globalisation, but are more and more actively ‘pushed out’ of society. This 'expulsion' can happen when people are displaced, fleeing from violence and obscene poverty, but expulsion also happens to people who are not going anywhere – because they have no means to leave. We work anywhere where people want to change – from the most remote areas in fragile states to the excluded in wealthy nations.
